Valentine Bucket Swap

You should have come here from Trudie's Blog if not make sure to check HERE for a complete list.  Here's a couple pictures of the goodies my Valentine Bucket Swap buddy, Jackie R, sent me.  She decorated the cutest little mailbox with the Rio image that we got.  The brown box with the letter H is a little piece of heaven!!  Hazel Hill Chocolate Traditions is now a new love for my whole family!  My Husband is in favor of me doing more swaps now ~ so Thank You for that Jackie! You have performed a miracle.  Thank you so much for all the great craft supplies & I LOVE the flowers. Your next stop on the Swap Hop is:

First Steampunk Card

This was my very first Steampunk Card.  This card and the supplies to make it can be found at Let's Create in Wisconsin Rapids.  The image is from Stampendous, embossing folder is Tim Holtz and punch is EK Large Scroll.  I used the metallic rub paints in silver over the embossed clocks on black cardstock.  Hope you like her.

Simply Betty Stamps January Sketch Challenge

Above is the sketch for Simply Betty’s current Challenge and below is my entry for this challenge.  Hope you like it.

steampunk 002

This Simply Betty Stamp is available HERE.  I also used EK Large Scroll punch for the bottom along with Memory Box dies La Rue Heart and Grand Heart layered behind the carefully cut out image.  The flowers were left over from the Shadow box Scrapbook page I did of my husband and me.  That makes this card eligible for the Corrosive Challenge #165 too! BONUS! Hope you like this card! Steampunk has become a new interest of mine so there will be more of these to come.

OK this is mainly to show the FREE DIGI that you can get for participating in this challenge.  AJ thinks that the black feather looks bad so I will be making another card for this challenge.  Besides if you join the Fan Group and see some of the other cards you will understand.  These ladies have MAD SKILLS!!!  Plus we seem to laugh every night.  All you have to do is be on Facebook, Search or go to Simply Betty Fan Group and join.  The Admin girls are very fast so you will be in pretty quick.  Hope to see you there.  The link for Simply Betty Stamps can be found on my side bar or you can get to her shop by visiting the blog (my only blinkie).

On my way to the CABIN!

Hi everyone,
Just wanted to get a quick post up before meeting my Stampin' Sisters, The Moos, at Cabin on the Creek.  There will be lots of great cards and ideas to share once I get back from a weekend of stamping.  My daughter and I have been very busy taking classes at Let's Create in Wisconsin Rapids.  If you haven't been there it is SOOOO worth the trip.  Classes fill up fast too so if you see a card or technique you like don't wait until it's too late.  I would also like to remind everyone that I am fortunate enough to be one of the designers for this store.  Frankie, Sara and Lori are some wonderfully talented women so just being asked to join them made me giddy.  Below is a card that I designed for a swap with the Moos.  This card was such a hit that I have made more and they are available to buy at Let's Create.
The stamps are from Our Daily Bread Designs but as you can see each Soldier is just a little different.  I hand colored them with prismacolor pencils then sealed each one with Aleen's paper glaze.
Hope you like this I will update this post with links and labels next week but wanted to put up a little treat before leaving for the cabin!
Inky Hugs!
